Injured my c6-c7 during deadlifting. Over a year ago did everything PT, chiropractor ect… Nothing worked my tricep atrophied on right side and horrible elbow and neck pain. Running in circles training no real strength gains. After surgery is there a realistic chance the tricep will come back. Maybe not 100% but significant improvement??

The C7 nerve (triceps muscle) has a very reasonable profile for strength return over a 6-8 month period with decompression (most people don’t wait one year for surgery). While not 100%, I think you still have a good chance of strength return.
