    You did have an attempt at a spinal cord stimulator implant without success. You need to consult a spine surgeon with experience in “failed back surgery syndrome” for that work-up.

    Can Foot Drop occur during surgery if your legs or knees or held too long in one position on the surgery table?

    If your leg rests on the outside of the knee against a hard surface, you could get a foot drop. The common peroneal nerve lies on the outside of the fibula near the knee and is vulnerable to compression with prolonged positioning. Padding and caution will prevent this problem.
