    hi Dr corenman,
    I have got serious problem due to my back and it has been continuing since 7 years. I had checked with many doctors in my country and hence I’m not getting help. They said that there is my nerves compression and it is not helpful although i do my operation so what can be done doctor. Can the operation be helpful in my case and here goes my MRI.

    Findings:

    a. Disc bulge noted at L4-L5 and L5-S1 level. L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs are partially desiccated.

    b. Normal alignment, configuration and deight of the vertebral
    bodies with normal marrow signal.

    c. Except the changes noted above, disc spaces and the signal intensity of the discs in all other levels are normal. No disc bulge, herniation or sequestration evidentin other levels.

    d. All lumbar intervertebral foramines are well visualized with exiting nerve roots within superior aspect and do not show any abnormality.

    e. Lower part of the cord is normal. CSF space around the cord is normal. No space occupying lesions are seen.

    f. No para-spinal abnormality.

    g. T-2 weighted oronal section of the hip joint did not reveal any abnormilty.

    IMPRESSION:

    Mild generative changes in the lower lumbar spine without significant compromise of the spinal canal and nueral foramen.

    You have degenerative disc disease of the lowest two discs in the lumbar spine. This disorder can generate lower back pain but many patients with this disorder have little to no pain. You do not describe your pain location so I cannot consider what your pain generator is. You need to supply more information.
