    Hi, Dr. Corenman,
I just got out of the hospital the other night. I having extreme tremors mostly in my legs and my upper body and tremor on the right side of my hand. I originally went to the hospital due to allergic reaction to one pill “lyric” I also recently had bilateral si joint fusion. A few days after the anaphylaxis my left side of face was twitching and pulling my jaw to one side. I am at the point I can’t walk without someone helping me.. Tremors are worse when standing or flexing my back.. I also have some abnormalities in my brain from the recent Mri. The tremors are getting worse I wasn’t having leg tremors or hands when the mri was ordered. I am also getting vertigo and ringing it my right ear and it feels like a lot of pressure. Neurologist here started me on ARTANe 2 pills three times a day. And Valium i between.. My left side of my face is still drooping down. Years ago I also had a strong positive to GN1 Auto antibody. And GD1B It was never treated. I’m at a loss as to why this is happening. meds are helping some of the tremors but as soon as they wear off it comes back strong. I’m even having issues moving my ankles. I live in Castle Rock Co. ALso tremors get worse when I flex my back. Could it be tethered cord? Common with people with ehlerdanlos and lupus. I’m scared because the neurologist here thinks this may be too complicated for him.. Also when this is happening I get gastroparesis and not emptying my bladder all the way my urine slowly trickles down. Prior to this flare up I have very swollen legs and very cold to the point I have to take multiple baths just to get them warm.
I’d love your thoughts for I am a mom two 5 year old twins and i’M literally bed ridden when the tremors start.
Here is my mri report: MR BRAIN W/WO CONTRAST – 03/12/2018, 0113.

HISTORY: 37 years Female. having left hemifacial spasms, eval for vessels abutting or compressing left facial nerve
Was there a contrast reaction? No
Was there a contrast or saline extravasation? No. .

TECHNIQUE: Multisequence and multiplanar MRI of the brain was acquired prior to and following intravenous contrast administration . The patient received an intravenous injection of 16 ml of Multihance with no adverse reaction.

Imaging was performed at 3.0 Tesla.

    COMPARISON: None.

    FINDINGS:
Brain and intracranial structures: The ventricles, cisterns and sulci are symmetric. There is no abnormal parenchymal or meningeal enhancement.

Minimal burden of nonspecific tiny T2 hyperintense white matter lesions in the right frontal lobe which may be associated with migraines.

There is a 2 x 3 mm enhancing nodule along the canalicular portion of what is believed to be the right cochlear nerve.

I am unclear why you are having these symptoms. You had anaphylaxis with Lyrica? This means your body swelled up, you had hives and trouble breathing due to tracheal swelling and they had do go to great measures to save your life.

Why you are trembling I am unclear about. Trembling typically is a metabolic cause and not a spinal cause. This means there is something off in your chemical balance or even could be brain mediated.

You have symptoms that could be from intracranial problems (“My left side of my face is still drooping down”). This is due to facial nerve problems, the cranial nerve that does not exit the skull.

A nodule on your cochlear nerve could be a small tumor (normally benign like a meningioma) that can affect balance.
