you write me this:”Discal collapse can cause central stenosis due to the ligamentum flavum “bunching” as the ligament does become more redundant with disc height loss. Generally, you would already have to have preexisting congenital canal stenosis for this to happen.”
what a bout that disc disease loss the high of the disc lead to central stenosis (or pinching the spinal cord in the local area of u have the problem ?
i can share with u that a bucking of ligament flavum can be developed on years (and in some months can buckling and compress on the spinal cord really.
so he doesn’t need to happen in suddenly when u have a traumatic injury ,it is can also from cumulative trauma to the disc degeneration (over the year from trauma to the disc )
this calls central stenosis and if bad enough this can lead to myelopathy.
