Dx with cervical spondylolisthesis at c2/3 c3/4 as well as bulging herniated impinging discs at c2_7
Suffering from headaches dizziness balance and visual disturbances
    Had nerve blocks at c5/6c6/7t/1
First round worked relieved symptoms for 11 days_
Pain management doc will not go above c5/6_
Have appointment with several other pain management specialist
Current doc wants to do radio frequency ablation at the levels he’s treated_
    Question:
Why wouldn’t doc do nerve block at site of most likely source of headaches namely spondylolisthesis at c234??
Will new docs approach that area to treat?
That’s where neurologist and spinal surgeons have said the damage is_
    Little confused

Headaches can typically originate from C2-3 and C3-4 facets (and occasionally discs). Balance issues can originate from cervical myelopathy due to stenosis (“bulging herniated impinging discs at c2_7”).

Visual disturbances are generally not associated with cervical pathology unless vascular problems exist (very rare).

I do not know why your doc wants to perform rhizotomies at C5-T1 or not block C2-4. There is greater precision necessary at higher levels but most interventionists will inject the upper levels.

Maybe a discussion with your present doc or a new consultation by another physician might be helpful.
