    Hello,

Can getting X-Ray done of lumbar spine cause impotency of some kind?

X-Ray of my lower baack was taken twice (first time, it was 7 years back, when I had injured my back. The second one being just a couple of days back)

Impotence is not caused by a couple of lumbar spine X-rays. Consult with a urologist or family doctor is your next step.

Thankyou, Doctor, for quick response and clarification.

I had read somewhere on internet that exposure to radiations causes impotency, so I came up with that question.

    Now my doubt is cleared.
