    Hi Doctor,
I had c5 c6 c7 acdf surgery this year in May for right arm bicep weakness and brachioradialias atrophy and weakness, arm strength was 3/5 before the operation, my arm strength is slowly improving 5 months later but on a recent mri I have a bulging disc at c5 nerve root with impingement, I know that the biceps and brachioradialis has double nerve innervation from c5 and c6 nerve but which nerve gives the biceps and brachioradialis the most strength?

    Thanks
    Greg

Generally, the C6 nerve gives the biceps and brachioradialis the majority of innervation while the C5 nerve (from the C4-5 level) supplies the deltoid muscle.
