I started having pain, burning & numbness about a month ago. I recently noticed the burning has spread everywhere face, Throat, ears etc…. I also just received my cervical MRI stating C5-6 2mm central herniation abuts the cord could this be the cause ?

The cord (at least the lower cord) will not affect the face and throat. Any HNP that “abuts” the cord but does not compress it will generally not cause cord dysfunction and will not cause facial symptoms. For “burning everywhere”, I would look for metabolic and not spinal causes.
