    Hello Dr. Corenman,

I had lumbar fusion about 6 months ago.

I also have cervical vertigo from a whiplash injury. I am scheduled to have botox injection in upper back and neck.

Will the Botox effect the fusion process in any way ?

    Thank you

Botox is a temporary paralytic agent for muscles and should not affect your fusion. At six months, you should have a solid fusion and there should be nothing that can affect it.
