I had fusion surgery after car crash when the roof of the car {from it flipping multiple times} smashed down on my skull and i ended up with two slipped discs in my neck and multiple fractures in my neck, right hand and pinky on right hand! They did neck fusion of my C5 and C6 i believe they said they used titanium plates instead of bone from a donar. i haven’t asked about it since. The pain was 10 all the time but after a while after surgery it whent down to 1-8 most of the time pain wasn’t to bad.. mostly when i first woke up it was bad. But it has been two years pain has not stoppped and it has gotten to be as painful as when i first had the surgery the past 2 months and today/tonight the pain is so severe i feel like crying my eyes out. Every movement, standing up, sitting down, coughing, sneezing, farting, moving my arms, moving my hands leaning forward, laying down basically every small movement makes the pain more outragious! I need to know if maybe i should get an implant or take steroids or something else and if this is normal to have severe pain like this two years down the road. After surgery they said because i was able to walk and move around i did not need physichal therapy i went online few days ago and they said i should have had some type of therapy or atleast tought how to move and small excersise till i was stronger to move around better! I guess that hospital didn’t wanna keep me cuz my insurance did not wanna pay them the $104,698 they asked for so as soon as my insurance only gave them $5000 from the car insurance and my medical insurance did not pay them right away they tried to get me out only 2 days after surgery like they couldn’t get rid of me fast enough! I could not even bath myself or whipe myself i had to get my bf to do that you know how much i felt like crap making him wipe me like i was a baby?! Anyways the pain got better after 5months but then last year it got a litte worse but now last 2 months it is hard for me to do anything without wanting to cry from all the pain! Idk what the issues are i need helpd asap. Not many people take my insurance i am on SSI and got bills, rent to pay so i can not pay out of pocket costs much atall and not many ppl will even take a look at me cuz they do not take my insurance! Please give me any advice you can to help me out i need help so badly i can not live like this anymore!

Based upon your reported injury and surgery, I would assume you have a pseudoarthrosis (lack of fusion) of the operated levels. You would need new X-rays including flexion/extension and a spine specialist to review them. If you do have a failed surgery, you would then need a revision surgery to repair your neck.
