    Thanks again for responding. It’s amazing that you are so responsive.

    I just spoke with my surgeon. He said it’s possible that it is scar tissue, but said it’s too early to do an MRI and that it wouldn’t warrant one anyway.

    In your experience, what symptoms are typically associated with scar tissue development?

    Symptoms are quite similar to inflammation of the root.

    Would a straight leg test be a clear indicator of this?

    The SLR test is helpful but only one of the exam findings that help indicate the inflammation of the nerve root.
