i asked physician about disease, but he did not find anything wrong, ultrasound and pathological reports are ok, he changed medicines 2 days back and gave me acid reducing medicines and medicines to reduce stress and anxiety.

Do i need any other test to find out the reason?
I am feeling relax while taking these medicines. there is no pain in body if i take these medicines.

There is chronic back pain even after these medicines, so i am taking lyrica twice a day for that,it relieves me. The pain these days i am feeling is not like it used to be before.

If you do well with these medications, then your doctor has done a good job. Continue to follow his advice.

If your leg is swollen (an actual measurement of the circumference of the leg notes greater than one centimeter of difference), then venous problems like a DVT (deep venous thrombosis) has to be in the differential diagnosis. If this is present, it needs to be treated as soon as possible to prevent the chance of pulmonary embolism.

Nerve compression however also makes the affected part “feel swollen”. If you have ever had an anesthetic injection in your jaw from the dentist, this is the same feeling. The jaw feels swollen and “rubbery”.

There are various tests that are used to rule out a DVT such as a venous duplex ultrasound or a venogram.
