HI, i had accident at work 3 month ago. I slipped on oil and hurt my back. since then i can barely walk, pain is going from my lumbar spine to leg from right side but occasionally felling pain in right side as well, Sometimes pains is impossible to keep, just get me crazy. i had MRI scan and report said:

There is small annular tear in the posterior of L5-S1 vertebral body. Small central disc hernitation is also noted, with minimal narrowing of the spinal canal.

My orthopedist said is nothing do treat, but what i read this is diagnosis witch cover my problem.
Just looking for some help what should i do. I put 2 images from my MRI:

Yes, you do have a degenerative disc at L5-S1 and you are correct in that your impairing back pain was probably caused by a new annular tear of that disc. I would disagree with your orthopaedist that “there is nothing to treat”. Hopefully you are undergoing a core strengthening physical therapy program and have been considered for an epidural injection considering you are at 3 months with no significant improvement.
