Achilles tendonopathy is an inflammatory condition of the achilles tendon. Steroid injection can relieve pain but has a higher chance of tendon rupture. The use of PRP (platelet rich plasma) can be helpful and might have less chance of tendon injury.

This tendon pain affects your gait and can aggregate preexisting spinal disorders.
