in reply to: loss of bowel bladder control due to cervical pain #6419
Dr Corenman
It is a good news that he is regaining bowel control since last four days.
Last 8 days He has been taking
1.Homeopathy medicine.
2.Tablets for mythylcobalamin (however the B12 deficiency test yet to be done)
3.Doing Yoga for cervical.
4.taking daily ayurvedic oil massage. Now I ‘ve no idea what worked .He is still on catheter that will be removed (as per doctor) once his bowel functioning is normal.
Spine specialist asked us to keep the option for surgery open in case of relapse.
Thanks

Thanks for helping us, I’ll get my father examined by a good spine surgeon to avoid further damage.
Thank you very much

We got consulted with two spine surgons ,one of them examined my father and suggested meds(oral) for B12 defficiency for 15 days and asked us to wait. While another surgon suggests immidiate surgery (microscopic posterior decompression)to avoid further damage
my father does not show any tingling sign / sensation triggered by a mechanical stimulus (hoffman’s).
