Isn’t it possible that if the pars defect was not removed that the bone spurs underneath the pars could still be compressing the nerves as you have stated in the past ??

This might sound like a stupid question, but is it possible Steve has a seroma pinching a nerve ?

quick question, how long is TLIF surgery, wheels in, wheels out ?

How long is patient under anesthesia before the surgery begins ?

Do you make the incision yourself and close the patient yourself or does a nurse or a resident do this part ?

    Thank you

Too bad the duramoprh doesn’t last about 2 months ! My question was can persistant muscle spasm in back remain long term after the TLIF surgery?

I have a friend that had a TLIF and experiences regular muscle spasms in his back years after the surgery…

    you are a genius!

Do your patients experience muscle spasm after fusion at L5,S1 and is muscle spasm a common symptom of TLIF fusion ? Can it be chronic ?

Just curious, I’m sure he will ask, but where does Sperryguy from here ? It sounds like his fusion started late so does that mean he will get better from here. Or would you suggest oral steroids to reduce nerve root irritation.
