Thank you for the explanation. But what can or should I do about it? IS surgery my only option? What problems other than intense pain and hampering my ability to walk or stand or do about anything will this cause in the future. I am 64 years old. I do not want to end up in a wheelchair. I have tried physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, spinal injections with little to no long relief. The doctor has now suggested traction therapy.
