Sir, Please could you clarify – “flattening of the ventral cord” is that spinal cord compression?

If I lean forward whilst sat at a desk or table I nearly pass out and get tightness in head near temples. it is so scary

I understand, thank you. I have just spoken to the Dr that sent me for my scan he says I have been told wrong about things, he says it is not spinal cord compression yet, but it needs looking at soon so they have referred me to Neurosurgeons. He says there is pressure on the sac but not yet on the cord, there’s still alittle bit of room there he says.

So what I am doing is writing to the mri department to obtain my scan pictures and report, so I can see for myself what is going on.

Sir, I have been back to the hospital and they say they have done a referral to Neurosurgeons so I will get an appointment letter in the post. This means it will take weeks and then months after seeing them to wait again for an appointment for surgery. Not good enough. I was told they had to operate immediately so why they have done this to outpatients clinic I have no idea. I have had some Myelopathy for 8 years in neck, those flecks of white in my spinal cord that you mentioned before on your site. So is it too late will my nerves be permanently damaged or is there hope of returning to normal? Cord compression does need immediate surgery doesn’t it?
