in reply to: Spine or Bowhunters? #23386
But I just read again the bit on your site:
“If the symptoms are brought about by looking up (cervical extension) without lifting the shoulder, the disorder more likely than not is from compression of the nerves in the neck (radiculopathy)”
and this is one thing that happens with me, yes, so I think it is neck.
all neurosurgeons I’ve seen say no, not neck, but they will not scan me during an attack or trigger an attack to scan me then, I dont think they do ambulatory scanners! So I cant be rigged up to wear something to catch this happening! I keep telling them it happens when I am doing things, bending over, looking up, leaning forward, doing things!
in reply to: Spine or Bowhunters? #23385Ok, thank you. I am back at Cardiology tomorrow so will ask.
in reply to: Spine or Bowhunters? #23375Thank you, ok I’ll keep calm then. I do have SVT intermittent. Maybe it’s that?
in reply to: Spine or Bowhunters? #23373oh no! really? I’m more scared now, thanks for replying. this is so frightening, am I dying? oh lord, the top of my neck is agony today, i feel dreadful. i still keep having the awful sweats too
in reply to: Is this a serious issue? #23312I have this, so why aren’t they operating to sort it? I am having increasing symptoms, making life hell. No-one will help me, every neurosurgeon i see writes lies back to my GP saying I am fine, I am not!!
I shall end up having to take my own life as I cannot cope any m ore!I have had another two scary attacks of feeling very faint, and limbs jerking, but I do not go unconscious, I just feel to be fading away, feel faint and these attacks terrify me! Drs do not know what it is. Some health workers think it may be seizure, but Drs say no, you would not be awake for seizure, yet when i spoke to Epilepsy helpline they tell me you can be awake for some seizures. I dont know who to believe. I am afraid to be alive, it is hell to live like this. One paramedic suggested blood pressure problems.
