    Dr.Corenman

I had lab work and hand and knee X-ray done by arthritic doctor everything was negative

The EMG test was only on right side
What does subacute c6 radiculqpathy means? Doesn’t that mean their is nerve root issue?
The EMG test is one month old the MRI is 3 year old.

I read the c6 nerve goes to the thumb. Are saying it stop at the wrist on thumb side

    Dr, Corenman,

Got the results from the MRI. Need to get the actual report and pictures. The nurse said i have moderate narrowing of nerve passage between c3 and c4. The family Dr. wants me to see a neuro surgeon.

Does this correlate with the extension/flexion slippage on c4 and c5?

    Thanks

    Dr. Corneman,

This whole neck pain is so frustrating. I guess the pain is in my head. My family doctor doesn’t believe in flexion and extension x ray basically saying it’s a Chiropractic scheme. Won’t give me a referral to NeuroSurgeon stating they can’t and won’t do any thing with out seeing a problem on a MRI. He doesn’t think anything will be seen on MRI. But agree to give me a MRI. I’m schedule for on tomorrow.

Will this problem show on MRI?

What is your take on this?

    I don’t think i need a referral to see a specialist.

    Thanks
    Andy

    Dr. Corneman,

Went and got the x ray from the chiropractor. Yes the total movement is 6.5mm. In flexion the head is In front 2 mm and 4.5mm further back in extension. It is moving in opposite direction.

    Dr, Corenman,

    Thanks for the reply.

I’m going to see my primary doctor this week. Never review the latest finding with him, the movement between C4 and C5. Will ask for his recommendation and referral to spine surgeon.
