Thoracic pain can occur from alignment (increased kyphosis), Scheuermann’s disease, degenerative disc or facet disease or radiculopathy (nerve compression from spur or herniation). It sounds like you have ruled out facet (no relief with ablation) and no nerve pain (no temporary relief with epidural). I would assume that either the injections were not placed accurately at the site of the pain generator or an alignment disorder was missed. Do you have films (X-rays and MRI)? If so, please look at my long distance consultation service.
