I saw my neurosurgeon and he says my neck and back pain is from arthritis. He asked if I have pain down the arm and I said yes, but it comes and goes. He still doesn’t recommend more surgery. He wants me to go back to physical therapy and also buy a stand up desk and use a cervical pillow. He doesn’t want me to get the nerve stimulator or anymore injections at this time. I tried the cervical pillow last night and woke up with neck soreness and a major headache. I guess I have to get use to it. I think my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia makes all other illnesses, issues and diagnoses more complicated. I know PT can aggravate fibromyalgia so that is tricky too.

Based on the latest MRI’s do you think I should get a second opinion?

Also, because of my choking on liquids, I am having a modified barium swallow done that my neurologist ordered.
