    HI DR,JUST RECIEVED MY QUARTERLY LAB RESULTS EDORONOLIGIST HAS ME ON ANDROGEL 1.62% 2 PUMPS DALY MY T LEVELS HAD DROPED TO 218 FROM EXSESSIVE NARCOTIC MEDS FOR PAIN AFTER MY BACK FUSION LAST QUARTER MY LEVELS WERE 589 NOW 459 WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN?ALSO I WAS TESTED FOR VIT.D DEFICIENCY AFTER MY LAST MRI FINDINGS ON 9/13 OSTEOPAROSIS OF THE SPINE POSSIBLE METABOLIC BONE DISEASE.TEST NUMBER ARE VIT.D,25-OH,D3/D2 IS 23 TOTAL IS 23 FINAL CAN I PLEASE HAVE YOUR OPINION THANK YOU VERY MUCH.AND RDW 14.8

    Unfortunately, I am not an endocrinologist so I cannot comment on the levels of testosterone or the effects of narcotics on the testosterone levels. It is unusual for a man to develop osteoporosis. An MRI cannot determine if osteoporosis is present. You would need a bone densitometry to determine your T score which is the measurement of osteoporosis.
