I have performed plenty of two level ADRs and these patients do very well with a slightly shorter recover time than an ACDF.

The weakness in my tricep (left) is getting more noticeable, I can’t do a push up or a tricep dip at this point. Also notice it when pushing a door open. How quickly does strength return following decompression?
I’m a little nervous about permanent weakness or damage. I was only having c5-6 symptoms early on, but now the C6-7 seems to be presenting stronger, hence the double ADR versus original single diagnosis.
It is time to consider the surgery. The good news is that the C7 root generally recovers nicely after decompression.

Scheduled for Tuesday. I was just curious how long until I noticed strength return to bicep/tricep. Like weeks or months?
I’m glad to hear it comes back.
Thank you!
Sometimes immediate but expect 3-6 months for best recovery.
