I think there are probably some good surgeons in New York but unfortunately, I don’t know of any particular ones who specialize in this repair in New York. Look carefully at the information available on the surgeon you pick. Some will be erroneous if off the internet but there are still some good internet sources available.
Interview each surgeon and develop a “gestalt” for this individual. He or she should be patient and answer all the questions you have. Remember that you are also interviewing the doctor as you listen to his or her opinion.
