Hi, my sister is suffering from lower back pain Sometimes low back pain includes a sharp, stinging, numb sensation that moves down the thighs and into the low legs and feet. It is usually felt one side of my body. tried certain therapies such as muscle relaxant and narcotic. but there was of no use. Now I’m planning to take cannabis treatment for treating the lower back pain. I have read that CBD and THC found in marijuana help for the inflammation, discomfort and restlessness caused by the lower back pain. I don’t know more about marijuana. I’m hearing about medical marijuana for the first time. Can anyone share your knowledge on this? I have taken the appointment for discussion in the medical cannabis clinic Ontario. Before that share your insight with me.

Cannabis is not researched enough to be given a recommendation. I highly doubt the anti-inflammation claims but there is anecdotal evidence of some ability to obtain pain relief, but at what cost? The CBD component is claimed to be a pain reducer. The THC component is more for “getting high”.
