I am confused about your comment regarding a “disc replacement”. Did you have one replaced?
I cannot give you referrals on this site since it is anonymous. Please call my office and I can give you a name who has experience with spinal infections in Florida. Ask for Lori Fugate.

Donald Corenman, MD, DC is a highly-regarded spine surgeon, considered an expert in the area of neck and back pain. I still need to discuss the actual procedures he wanted to perform…the initial appointment didn’t go into much specific detail.
Thank you, I will call your office today…you have just made my year!! When Dr Germaine Montoya retired, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. Finding someone with experience in my medical situations isn’t easy…by any stretch of the means. I’m just lucky and thankful that my husband has excellent insurance…
I called and left a detailed message…thank you so much!! You have literally renewed my and my husband’s faith in doctors again…we were becoming extremely disenfranchised!! Just taking the time to respond and help all of these people… Really brought me to tears… Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
What this surgeon meant is that the L3-4 level needs to be debrided and fused with grafts and rods. I will talk to Lori tomorrow and give her the contact information.
