    Hi,

I had rfa done for the sacroiliac joint issues.

Currently I facing right leg muscle weakness. Before the rfa I was walking normally. After the rfa procedure my right leg began to muscle weakness.

Is it normal to have right leg weakness after the rfa procedure.

Radio frequency ablation of the sacral nerves should have no bearing on leg weakness. These nerves do not serve any leg muscles. If there is an error of technique and the nerves are burned in the sacral foramen instead of the lateral posterior sacrum, that would be a different story.

Do you have numbness of your legs associated with the weakness?
