X ray : Findings: The lumbar vertebral body heights are maintained. Pedicles are
intact. Alignment is within normal limits. The intervertebral disc spaces
are maintained. Mild facet arthropathy involving L4-L5, L5-S1, and to a
    lesser extent L3-L4.

    IMPRESSION:

Mild facet arthropathy involving the lower lumbar spine.

MRI: (email from the doctor )Nothing serious on the mri. There is some degenerative discdisease in the lower back causing some narrowing of the nerve opening- foramen. I think this would respond to an epidural steroid injection. I’ll refer you for the consultation and procedure once I get a reply.

my question : I have a lot of cracking noise in my lower back and now this moved to my cervical verterbraes. Is a noise that is very often when I move my head… please advise ! I really appreciate your advice to see what to do next. thank you!

You do not note symptoms other than “cracking” sounds. These are nothing to worry about if there is no pain involved. Degenerative facet disorders are common. The noise is from the irregular surfaces “rubbing” together.
