I am thinking another set of eyes is wise
and as far I know I never had any reports that I had a herniation on L5 S1 only the emg showed nerve problem and with the discogram that was done the same time as my surgery for L5 s1 that he says I said I had pain on injection its puzzling to me that now I an L4 herniation it sounds like something is not right here, and the pain continues on right and left what is going on
You have undergone one of the most unusual surgical work-ups I have seen in quite a while. It is hard for me to understand how a discogram immediately before the surgical “adventure” would help to direct a surgical decision. This is especially true in that you must have been intubated and then woken up with the endotracheal tube in your throat and asked questions regarding pain from the discogram. I would think an anxiety reaction under those conditions would be quite expected!
You do need a new set of eyes on you to determine what is going on. Pick a specialist with years of experience who is patient and compassionate.
