    Hi Doctor,

After about 2 months of being totally pain free following the title surgery in November ’21, I am starting to feel a slight ache in my neck and some sensation in my left arm. The left is where the original weakness was.

I do not have any new weakness, strength has remained restored so am curious if it’s possible for the nerve to just still be in a healing mode or I should worry. Post op xrays at 2,4,6 weeks were all normal.

    Thank you.

Nerve roots can stay sensitive for at least a year. You probably have increased range of motion now which stretches the root and activates some mild symptoms. Probably nothing to worry about.
