A recent MRI scan resulted in an impression indicative of Degenerative Lumbar Spondylosis with disc lesion most significant in right posterocentral location at L4-L5 level.
L4-L5 intervertebral disc shows dessication changes (reduced T2 intensity) and bilateral(Right > Left) posterocentral bulge causing indentation over anterior thecal sac and bilateral neural forminal compression.
L5-S1 intervertebral disc shows dessication changes (reduced T2 intensity) and mild broad based posterior central disc bulge causing indentation over anterior thecal sac without any significant neural foraminal compression.

Please what do I need to do immediately before seeing an orthopaedic surgeon for a physical review in 2 weeks without doing further damage. Can I still walk or do I take a rest?

Findings from images need to be compared to your symptoms. Based upon your images, you could theoretically be asymptomatic (no symptoms). See the section on the website “How to describe symptoms” to convey what you are experiencing.
