    Your X-ray finding of “loss of lordosis” is fairly typical for multilevel degenerative disc disease (DDD) as the trapezoidal disc spaces are the “cause” of the lordosis. Loss of disc height which occurs with DDD will reduce the lordosis.

    I am a big fan of core strengthening exercises to reduce the stress on the lower back. The best technique I have found is Pilates. See the videos on this website to understand the best lifting techniques and injury prevention.
