    I don’t think there was malpractice involved with your initial surgery. The problem was lack of meticulousness. Unfortunately, there are surgeons who feel that speed is the essential factor in surgery. These individuals probably have a moderate success rate (let’s say 75-80% satisfaction instead of 90-95%) so there probably are some “satisfied customers” but not as many as could be with the proper attention to detail.

    That’s part of the reason that the health care has taken a hit. There is no accountability. The reports not only indicated a speedy surgery but also lack of performance, and adequate communication between the doctor patient. My next item to research is if there is actually a bone graft put in both areas. The Inspector General for the VA is definitely interested into looking into it. Anyway thanks again for everything I will definitely keep you posted.
