Hi, For a week now my right middle/index/and thumb are numb and tingle. At times the pain/pressure I feel is terrible. (I feel like my hand is being crushed) When I lay down these symptoms seem to get worse. As I stand and move around the symptoms get better. I also have slight tingling to my left finger tips, these symptoms come and go and cause me to notice them, but they are much more minor than my right hand. ? Could this be a spine issue? Thank you

One of the differentials is a spine diagnosis but there are other disorders that can cause your current symptoms. You need a consultation with a spine diagnostician for further input.

When you mention that your posture changes the pain intensity, it means that there is definitely a connection of the pain with the spine. Getting it checked on time and following a course of treatment with proper care can save you from making matters worse. So you can book an early appointment and see why you are getting this pain.

Just because symptoms change with position does not necessarily mean that the spine is the origin of the pain. Thoracic outlet syndrome, carpel and cubital tunnel syndrome and even neuropathy can be aggravated by spine position but are not caused by a spinal disorder.
