Decision on choosing a surgeon is difficult. There are many surgeons who are technically talented but have poor bedside manner. There are some who demonstrate the reverse qualities. Word of mouth is sometimes helpful and internet searches are becoming somewhat more accurate. I wish I could tell you who is great and not so great but I can’t know every surgeon in the country and new ones come out every year. Find one with at least 10 years of experience.
