I was stretching about ten days ago and I assumed I strain the right right of my neck. The area where my neck and right shoulder meets is painful. I am in terrible pain and don’t know what to do. Went to see a neurosurgeon and he said I do has degenerate discs. I think this is in my Levator Scapulae where is meets my trapezes muscle. Any ideas? I also have low back pain and sciatica

Here is my MRI of my neck

    C1-C2 canal is patent

C2-C3 posterior central 1.3mm disc bulge indents the ventral cervical cord. Neural foramina are patent. Canal is patent

C3-C4 no evidence of disc disease, neural formal stenosis, or canal stenosis

C4-C5 posterior central 1.5mm disc bulge indents the ventral cervical cord. Neural foramina are patent. Canal is patent

C5-C6 posterior central 1.5mm disc bulge indents the ventral cervical cord. Neural foramina are patent. Canal is patent

C6-C7 no evidence of disc disease, neural formal stenosis, or canal stenosis

C7-T1 no evidence of disc disease, neural formal stenosis, or canal stenosis
