    in the MRI how much mm is normal average disc in cervical spine (in the mri )
    and if that its normal to change the different high in different level
    ( for example c2-3 to c6-7 need to be not large significant percentage difference between
    if the disc c2-3 or c4-5 look 50% of what in the other level .

    Discs are convex shaped so central measurement will be different depending upon the location of measure. There is also a variation that is congenital. Central measures are from 5-8 mm. Without degeneration, discs higher in the spine are slightly narrower than lower discs.

    Narrowing of the disk height by a small percentage is not an indication for surgery. 6 mm between C2-3 can be a normal finding.
