    Good morning Dr Corenman
i need desperately your answer to my problem. In 2017 i was diagnosed with isolated disc resorption between l5-s1.Since then my life was natural with insignificant pain on my back.I wanted to ask you what will happen in the future with this.It will be worse? Is it stabilized? Is there a danger to lead to intense back pain and fusions. Can i get married?

If I could answer that question, I would be walking down that red carpet in Sweden and they would put that gold medal around my neck. I have many patients who have had IDR and not have symptoms for years. I am sure there are many individuals who have IDR and don’t even know it as they never had had the need for X-rays. Just some simple precautions. Don’t become a runner or play contact sports. Don’t lift heavy loads and try to avoid the construction industry. You can lead a happy life and get married.
