Sharp pains around the shoulder and scapulae could originate from the neck or the shoulder. You would have to have cervical foraminal stenosis (narrowing of the nerve exit) to have the neck implicated. You do not note that disorder from the MRI reading. Diagnosis is the first order of the day. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, treatment can ensue.
