The traction devices are designed for relief of symptoms but does not reverse the changes that lead to these disorders. These traction devices will not reverse foraminal or central stenosis as both of these disorders are due to “overcrowding” of the respective canals (central or foraminal).

This “overcrowding” is due to hypertrophic bone spur, buildup of cartilage or disc due to degeneration and/or a congenital narrowing of these canals. Traction will not remove these “build-ups”.
