i have lose of concentration and imbalance . no neck pain or shoulders for 2 years ago , this case contouse for 2 monthes then disappear i did cervical xray : the resulte was cervical straightening ,

now this year return lose of concentration and imbalance for 1 month and still.

is cervical straightening may cause lose of concentration and imbalance?

“Is cervical straightening may cause lose of concentration and imbalance”? Straightening is typically caused by some stretch of ligaments but may be perfectly normal. There are rare occasions that the straightening could be caused by “antalgia” which is an adoption of a position of the spine to prevent further pain or cord/nerve injury.

Concentration is not related to the cervical spine unless pain grabs the attention.

If the disc herniation is compressing the cord causing myelopathy (see website), this could be causing your imbalance. If the compression is significant, it could cause enough symptoms that your concentration is “off”.

Once the disc is herniated, this disc will not return from where it came. The disc fragment will eventually partially reabsorb but the tear in the disc will be permanent. As long as your pain goes away and you have minimal to no weakness, you can live with this condition.

Treatment includes physical therapy, medications, time and epidural injections if you have the resources to do that.
