I can’t get a break. I may need a root canal according to my dentist. Pain when eating and drinking and teeth sedative at times.

Use an antibiotic before and after the procedure as advised by your dentist.

He has me on an antibiotic for 10 days to see if that clear things up. If not I’ll need root canal. Also taking orescribed Tylenol and ibprofin when needed.

If the antibiotic helps I may not need root canal unless pain returns.

He suspects it’s tooth with crown it not 100 percent since xray can’t show part of tooth covered by crown.

My concern is what if I get this done and that was not the problem. Then a root canal for nothing. I’ll get one more opinion first

I Had my 6 month follow up visit with my surgeon on Tuesday. He said everything looks good and no need for xray and mri. For the big toe that has that blister like feeling he sent in a teferral to a nerve testing place next week at my request. Surgeon will see me in 3 weeks to discuss. Then based on nerve test he will let me know if i need a new MRI.

Overall doing good. Did some yard work for first time in over a year.
