    Thanks!

I went to my PC ‘Dr a couple days ago. Got a cortisone shot in the left hip to help with the mild soreness at left butt and steroid tablets to take for 7 days.

Dr said it is most like inflammation and maybe some arthritis that can occur after surgeries. He also said since I have no pain or burning that radiates there should be no concern and this may happen . He said to do core exercises to prevent this.

I told him I have my follow up appointment with surgeon next month to see how I’m doing and ask if MRI may be necessary to see how everything looks. He said most likely not necessary and he may have me get an x-ray at most to look at spine.

As for as the mild pain in the lower left ab area it stop a few days prior to that appointment. Just some tightness around that left hip at most.

Do you agree with his findings are have a different opinion?

    Thanks!

The pain in low AB area is gone but I still have the mild soreness at back part of left butt even after cortisone shot and steroid tablets. I’ll. Sunday last day for tablet pack.

Any reason for concern or next course of action at this point?

It sounds like you are recovering as to be expected. Continue on your current path.

I need to start stretching. In mean time just resume walking unless I get worst.

Doing better, pain level at 2 percent.

Got a new mattress. I’m sure that help also. Old one 12 years old.
