Understanding the MRI of a Lumbar Herniated Disc

This video relates to the lumbar spine.  Understanding the MRI of a Lumbar Herniated Disc is designed for the primary care physician or specialist such as a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist to use to learn how to read and understand the MRI of the lumbar spine. This one is a scan of a disc herniation-you will be able to understand what a sagittal view is (side view) and what an axial image is (the bottom up view). I know that most of us would like a top down view but Radiologists are dyslexic and prefer a bottom up view. It is recommended that you first watch the "MRI of a normal lumbar spine" first to understand this video more thoroughly.
