This cervical spine video--Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion (ACDF) Explained--describes the technique of decompressing the nerves and spinal cord in the neck and fusing the defective segment. Using drawings and models of the neck, an explanation of how the procedure is performed is illuminated. How bone graft and a plate is incorporated into the surgery is discussed.
