Dr. Corenman's Research on Lumbar Foraminal Stenosis Accepted as a Poster at the NASS Annual Meeting

Dr. Corenman's Research on Lumbar Foraminal Stenosis Accepted as a Poster at the NASS Annual Meeting:  Dr. Corenman's research on important diagnostic questions has been accepted as a poster at the National Association of Spine Surgeon's annual meeting in Orlando, FL in October of this year. The abstract, entitled "A Diagnostic Algorithm for Lumbar Foraminal Stenosis," discusses a cluster of important questions about aggravating activities. These questions could be used by a patient's primary care physician to help determine whether the patient has lower back foraminal stenosis. Dr. Corenman is not only looking at foraminal stenosis, but also additional lumbar and cervical diagnoses and their relationship to questions about activities which cause a patient pain. This comprehensive research may help to develop a comprehensive diagnostic tool for non-spine surgeons. The purpose of this research is to help patients get the help that they need for their neck and back pain sooner and help avoid delayed and inappropriate treatments.
