Your reaction to this cervical injection is distinctly unusual. There are occasions that an injection can cause a “volume” phenomenon. The fluid volume can cause pressure on neurological structures temporarily, especially if injected quickly. If the cord was temporarily irritated, I would expect paresthesias (pins and needles) possibly in both legs but pain is much more unusual. I cannot speculate on these new symptoms.
