    How quickly do you typically allow a healthy patient to get back to skiing after a single level ACDF (c6-c7)? Assuming all goes well with fusion, no complications, etc. Suspect you have a lot more data / experience with this question vs my East coast city surgeon!

    How about golf? Sounds like Davis Love III was fully back on the PGA tour in about 3 months – is that a fair expectation?

    If the patient has autograft (their own bone) and the X-rays look good, I will let them ski at 8-10 weeks. If they choose allograft (donor bone) and the X-rays look good, normally they can ski at 12 weeks.
